- On 10/19, the UMD Actuarial Club was able to host its very first actuarial company, Cigna. Sean, an Senior Actuary at Cigna, gave the talk and spoke about many interesting topics, including the future of healthcare, Cigna’s expanding role in the health services industry, and Cigna’s unique AEDP (Actuarial Executive Development Program) organization. - Great internship opportunity, especially for those just starting out in the field and needing some experience for your resume. The pay is $18 per hour, and you work completely virtually during the spring (15-20 hours per week). Then, during the summer, you work 40 hours per week, also completely virtual.
