Exam Prep Resources

Exam P (Probability) is a non-proof based, multiple choice exam on Probability Theory. The questions are entirely application-based, and the final answer is always a numerical answer (although that does not make the exam in any way easier!). The best (and only way as far as I know) to pass Exam P is to solve as many sample questions as possible. This is because certain techniques/patterns on how to approach specific problems are frequently repeated on Exam P, and the faster you are able to recognize those “tricks”, the higher your likelihood of passing the exam. Usually to pass, you’ll need to score ~ 70 – 80% on the exam. Below are the most helpful resources I know of for Exam P.

Exam FM (Financial Mathematics) is a multiple choice exam on Financial Mathematics. The questions, like Exam P, are entirely application-based, and the final answer is always a numerical answer (once again, that does not make the exam any easier!). And once again, the more problems you do, the better your chance of passing the exam. Usually to pass, you’ll need to score ~ 70 – 80% on the exam. Below are the most helpful resources I know of for Exam FM.
